Feature Request: Built-In Maintenance Mode for AMP-Instances

I would like to request a built-in Maintenance Mode feature for AMP that works independently of plugins or mods on the managed game server. This would allow AMP to communicate a maintenance state to clients even when the server itself cannot be modified.

Some games, such as Minecraft, support plugins or mods that can broadcast maintenance information (e.g., maintenance status, duration, reason) in the server list. However, this is not always possible:

  • Modded servers often cannot accept additional plugins.
  • Some servers are highly sensitive to changes and become unstable when mods or plugins are added.
  • This creates inconsistency in how maintenance information is displayed across different servers.

my idea.

Implement a native Maintenance Mode in AMP that:

  • Does not rely on server-side plugins, mods, or configuration changes.
  • Can be toggled directly in the AMP interface.
  • Allows administrators to define maintenance text such as:
    • Current maintenance status
    • Estimated duration
    • Optional status message
  • Sends or displays this information through AMP's own mechanisms, ideally showing it in the game's server list if technically feasible, or at minimum in AMP’s own status reporting interfaces.

Thank you for considering this feature.
