OBS has developed a new version of MP4 that maintains resistance to being interrupted, similar to MKV: https://obsproject.com/blog/obs-studio-hybrid-mp4
This - if possible - would be good to have for people who are trying to record level runs, etc. and would allow them to pick up where they left off without their recording becoming corrupted if something goes wrong.
