Issue description

When a lot of patterns are shown on screen, performance degrade significantly.

On my computer, I go from 70fps to 10fps when the chat is filled with patterns.

This is particularly annoying when using my trinkets to edit a big spell.

Steps to reproduce

1. Write a long spell (in a focus for example)
2. Use reveal to show the list of patterns in the chat
