What feature do you want?
I would like to see an improved user-experience when dealing with overlapping regions.
Why do you need it?

Currently, the user experience is not pleasant with overlapping regions
- What is for the user a single drive can result in their data ending up in multiple regions, simply because you disconnected from MeshMapper (and you are closer to the other zone's center when reconnecting). As an example, a drive from Ferndale, WA to Delta, WA with a stop at the Peach Arch Park will result in the second half of the drive tagged as SWBC, despite the user never entering Canada.
- Users have no workaround for admins who overclaim areas (also here),
have not drawn straight lines (see the subregions of PNW near the coastal British Columbia/Washington State border)fixed!, or who are unclear on how to make non-circular regions.
I recognize the utility of having regions, especially with the bandwidth that MeshMapper can chew up. However, some measure, such as giving the user control over which region they're recording data for when there are multiple valid choices, would make the experience much better.
How important is this?
Medium - Nice to have
