What do you want to work on?

I would like to pursue enabling this to work in containerized environments other than Docker for use on shared-use clusters, such as HPC clusters.

Why this change?

Academic clusters at universities and labs generally do not support direct use of Docker due to security constraints. Enabling this to work from more protected environments such as Apptainer and Singularity would improve adoptability on college campuses and in HPC clusters.
