Apologies if this is considered a misuse of this issue template, it's the closest one to what I wish to suggest. Microtus has gone unmaintained for over a year now. In addition, the Discord-invite link has has since expired. It has fallen behind compared to both Minecraft and Minestom.
Describe the solution you'd like
I believe that this may have been caused by a rapid increase in scope, making the project more taxing to maintain, though I recognise that there may be other reasons (eg: personal, career, education, family, etc) which I do not wish to speculate on. Nevertheless, I think Microtus could be revived with a dramatic reduction in scope. While this may be controversial to suggest, I think the best way to do this is to stop being a fork and instead become an implementation like Sabre (now archived).
