I would like to have the ROS-vendored libg2o package in ros-rolling.
I saw it was included in humble and jazzy, but not anymore in kilted or rolling. Was there any specific reason (build problems, not used, etc.) to remove it?

I can send a PR with the change unless it was removed due to build issues. I would keep all OS except Windows to replicate the jazzy setup.

Looking at history, it was added in jazzy in RoboStack/ros-jazzy#187, I think it was just added in jazzy, after kilted and rolling were "forked" from jazzy. So it is probably fine to add it.

Even if it was removed due to build issues, it is possible that new version of dependencies or packages fixed the build issues, so it is always worth giving a shot!
