Version Bump to 1.7.0 Needed

Version Bump Required

The current version 1.6.0 has been successfully registered, but there are unreleased changes on the main branch that should be released as version 1.7.0.

Changes since v1.6.0 (6 commits)

• Switch from JuliaFormatter to Runic.jl for code formatting (Switch from JuliaFormatter to Runic.jl for code formatting #49)
• Update FindFirstFunctions requirement to 1.4.2 (Update FindFirstFunctions requirement to 1.4.2 in /docs in the all-julia-packages group across 1 directory #48)
• Documentation improvements (Documentation improvements #47)

Action Required

1. Merge the version bump commit (changing version from 1.6.0 to 1.7.0 in Project.toml)
2. After merging to main, register the new version by commenting on the merge commit:

@JuliaRegistrator register

I've prepared the version bump locally on branch version-bump-20260108-031347 with commit bb0e520.

The change is simple: Project.toml line 3, version bumped from "1.6.0" to "1.7.0".

Since I don't have push access to create a PR directly, you can either:

1. Apply the version bump manually:

   # In Project.toml, change line 3:
   version = "1.7.0"

2. Or cherry-pick my commit if you can access the branch locally:

   git fetch
   git cherry-pick bb0e520

After committing to main, register with @JuliaRegistrator register

Recommendation: add release notes

Release notes help your users know what has changed in the new version. For breaking releases in particular, it's recommended to document what breaking changes were made (or point to where changes can be found, such as a changelog).
