Code of Conduct

Our Pledge

We, the maintainers and contributors of KuttAI, pledge to make participation in our project and community a harassment-free, respectful, and welcoming experience for everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, religion, education, background, or experience level.

We value an open and friendly community that supports students, developers, and researchers who want to build and learn together.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that contributes to a positive environment include:

  • Being respectful and considerate of differing viewpoints and experiences
  • Giving and gracefully accepting constructive feedback
  • Focusing on what is best for the project and community
  • Showing empathy toward other community members
  • Helping beginners and students learn without judgment

Examples of unacceptable behavior include:

  • Personal attacks, insults, or derogatory comments
  • Harassment, trolling, or threats of violence
  • Sharing private information without consent
  • Discriminatory jokes, offensive language, or exclusion
  • Disruptive or aggressive behavior in discussions or code reviews

Our Responsibilities

  • Project maintainers (Ecocee, represented by Sreeraj V Rajesh) are responsible for clarifying standards of acceptable behavior.
  • Maintainers have the right to remove, edit, or reject contributions or comments that are not aligned with this Code of Conduct.
  • Maintainers may ban contributors whose behavior is harmful or unacceptable.

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies in all project spaces, including:

  • GitHub repositories (issues, pull requests, discussions)
  • Community chats, forums, and events (online or offline)
  • Documentation and communication related to KuttAI

Enforcement

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior:

  • Report it to the maintainer at cyberkutti@gmail.com
  • All complaints will be reviewed and addressed fairly
  • The maintainer is committed to protecting reporters’ privacy

Consequences

Violations of this Code of Conduct may result in:

  1. A private warning
  2. Temporary or permanent removal from discussions or contributions
  3. Banning from the project community in severe cases

Acknowledgement

This Code of Conduct is adapted from the Contributor Covenant v2.1 with modifications to reflect the values of Ecocee and the KuttAI student-focused community.
