The Vite plugin strategy is great, but it would be really nice to have a way to programatically inject the dev tools. This would allow implementations to conditionally include the devtools on a request by request basis based on something in the root loader. The url flag is ok, but a server side check allows for greater flexibility.

You can import them from the /client subpath but this would require you then to not use the vite plugin to inject them. I plan to rework this completely in the future and you'll be able to do this yourself with ease
