Unable to sign-in with passwordless Microsoft account

• I have tried resolving the issue using the support portal
• I have ensured my Modrinth App installation is up to date

Describe the bug

When I attempt to sign-in to my Microsoft account with the Modrinth launcher I get an error message as follows:

Signing in to this device requires a password on your account.
Visit https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx to add a password to your account.
After adding a password, come back to sign in to this device.

This makes it impossible to sign-in and use the Modrinth launcher. I have tried many workarounds with no success.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the Modrinth App
2. Click the button in the top right that says "Sign in to Minecraft"

Expected behavior

No response

Additional context

I previously brought this up as a comment on #3183 but it became apparent this was a related but separate issue.

Out of curiosity to see how the official launcher handles this issue I installed it and went through the process of signing in to it. Instead of being hit with the same error message I got prompted by a QR code I could scan to continue signing in with my phone.

I have no clue how this is handled behind the scenes, but it solves the issue I am facing.
