Is there an existing issue for this?

• I have searched the existing open and closed issues and I checked the docs https://docs.netalertx.com/

The issue occurs in the following browsers. Select at least 2.

• Firefox
• Chrome
• Edge
• Safari (unsupported) - PRs welcome
• N/A - This is an issue with the backend

Current Behavior

DataTables warning: table id=tableDevices - Requested unknown parameter '30' for row 0, column 30. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/4

Expected Behavior

No dialog box error

I'm getting the same error -

I'm using the Home Assistant app version from Alex Belgium's repo. I tried updating to v26.2.4, but it wrecked all of my settings. Thankfully, I backed it up. Reverted back to v26.1.17. But even this version is buggy and it's giving me this error in a pop-up, plus it won't load device pages for any edits after I delete a device. My wife's apple watch has been acting up and reverting to random MAC setting. I usually reset the watch settings and it works for some time and I'll delete the ghost entry. Some weird stuff going on, lol... BTW, NetAlertX rocks! Thank you so much for creating it. When it's working, it gives me peace of mind.

There have been new db columns added so if you revert back to a previous version you have to start with a new db or restore the db as well. If the db column definitions differ you might be getting these issues.

What I would recommend is backing up devices (e. G. With the CSV backup method) and settings and trying to migrate to the new version by following the migration docs.

Alternatively install a fresh new version and import devices and settings.

Docker-compose from the offical installation source, fresh install. No imported data. Happens whenever I try to run LUCI plugin.

@mmstano - have you tried the dev image if its fixed there?

It would be great if you could test the ghcr.io/netalertx/netalertx-dev Docker image.

⚠️ Please back up everything first, or ideally spin up a separate container with its own DB and config (a copy of your current setup), as database changes may occur.

After updating:

• Click the 🔄 refresh button in the blue header at the top
• Hard refresh your browser cache (shift + reload) to force js and css files reload

@jokob-sk I have not, sorry. Again, I'm using netalertx as an App (previously called add-on) in Home Assistant, so I'm at Alex Belgium's Repos mercy, lol. I, also, realized the issue with LUCIRPC in v26.2.4, because I am using OpenWrt. No worries, though. I have been slowly moving away from WiFi into Zigbee with a bunch of my devices and have my WiFi devices <80 connected (at it's peak, I was just shy of 120.)

I had backed up my devices and settings, but it mattered not, I was still getting that pop-up error regarding the datatable. I hadn't realized there were additional columns added from prior to newer releases, so I dug my heels in, deleted the database, and built a new one from scratch which took a few hours. Although, I'm still on v26.1.17, it was worth it. No more errors/pop-ups regarding the database and I have a fresh backup ready to go for the next release.

@jokob-sk, I can confirm this was fixed for me a week or so ago. I just did the latest upgrade and the 2026.2.2 core update and can confirm the message no longer appears.

I'm not sure where "as per above" is referring to but if you'd like me to follow a procedure, I'm happy to do it if you point me in the right direction.
