NI MAX won't open

I may not be using the software correctly so sorry if that is the case.

I downloaded the alpha release and extracted it to this location
C:\OpenModal\openmodal_alpha_exe.win-amd64-3.5_v2\

I run the openmodal.exe
and I get his in the terminal

I generated some geometry and the went into the measure tab. I pick on the NI Max button and nothing happens. I get this in the terminal

Should I be doing something else?

Can you open NI max without using openmodal? What is it's location on disk?
