Removing the passive antenna from SnapperGPS PCB v2.0

Can I remove the passive antenna that is attached if I am adding an active antenna?
If I do so, can it be reattached later? Idk what the adhesive is that is used to attach it to the board.
Is there any benefit to leaving it on if it is removable?

• You can remove the passive antenna that is attached if you are adding an active antenna.
• If you do so, it can be reattached later. The adhesive that is used to attach it to the board is a tape that comes with the passive antenna. In addition to the tape, one solder joint is required.
• There is no benefit from leaving the passive antenna on if you are using an active antenna.
