Is your change request related to a problem? Please describe.
On the CA Certificates page, the Parent CA column is always blank for every certificate except those where the immediate parent has been captured. This leads the user to incorrectly think or believe that the certificate is a root.
In the screenshot above, the DigiCert cert is actually not a root, but its upstream has never been collected yet. It's upstream issuer name is contained inside the cert, so it should display in the Parent CA column.
Describe what you'd like different
I'd like the Parent CA column filled in always for every CA. The name should probably come from the "issuer" field of the certificate. Alternatively, if the cert is a root cert, then the column could say something like "< self >" or "Self" or "Root".
Describe alternatives you've considered
There are no alternatives.
Describe how the change would benefit other users
Displaying the Parent correctly will prevent users from incorrectly believing that a CA is a root.
