Description

Since we put the telemetry mechanism in place on che.osio and we are going to transition codenvy.io there are a few set of metrics that we would like to be able to collect.

We'll be using those metrics to build custom reports in Woopra as well.

General Metrics

Metric	Description	Available on osio
Che.IO Total Registered Users	The total number of users who registered by accessing to che.osio
Che.IO Monthly Registered Users	The number of users who registered by accessing to che.osio for the current month
Che.IO Active Unique Users	The number of unique active users on che.osio for the month
Che.IO Active Sessions	The total number of active sessions on che.osio for the month
Che.IO Total Usage Duration	The total number of active sessions on che.osio for the month

Factory Metrics

Metric	Description	Available on osio
Che.IO: Factories Sessions	The total number of factories sessions for the month
Che.IO: Factories Unique Users	The total number of unique users who used factories during the month
Che.IO: Factories Total Usage Duration	The total usage duration of factories during the month
Che.IO: Factories Per User Duration (Hours)	The average per user duration of factories during the month

Product Usage

Metric	Description	Available on osio
Che.IO: Users > 10min Usage	The total number of users who spend more than 10min using Che in one session
Che.IO: External Project Import	The total number of project imported (not from our samples and boosters)
Che.IO: Push To Remote Repository	The total number of pushes to a remote repository
Che.IO: Total Created Workspaces	The total number of workspaces created
Che.IO: Total Created Factories	The total number of factories created
Che.IO: Total Shared Workspaces	The total number of workspaces shared (with permissions)

Woopra Reports

We should be building a Woopra report which will show:

• The most popular stacks
• The most popular file types
• The most popular factories
