first, thanks for providing this; finally, I found a useable Linux alternative to OneNote!
Version used: 2.1.11-80bb1b1, as Appimage, downloaded from this website. OS is Linux Mint Mate 21.3.
Issue: When spellchecking, words that contain German umlauts (ä, ö, ü etc.) are not found in the hunspell dictionary, even though they are there. Instead, "corrupted" words like "wof�r" (for "wofür") are suggested. Most likely a character encoding issue: hunspell dictionary on my system is iso-8859-1; local nixnote2 user word list is utf-8.
