1px border around highlights

How can I remove this border?

I'm using sublimetext for writing prose and don't have much knowledge of the underlying framework (or code in general) so apologies if the solution is obvious. Here are my settings files and thank you for making this plugin.

I believe you can change the border color for the highlight in the color scheme file, but to be honest I haven't done that. You may want to try asking if this is possible on the Sublime Text forum (https://forum.sublimetext.com/). I will try to cut out some time to sort this out, but I think the forum may get you an answer sooner.
