Conference Call Recording – User Start/Stop Controls Not Working Reliably

Environment

Desktop Dialer (Electron/Web)

JsSIP

WebRTC (RTCPeerConnection)

MediaRecorder API

Chrome / Chromium-based browsers

Expected Behavior
User should be able to manually start and stop recording during a conference call using UI controls.

Steps to Reproduce

Initiate a conference call with 3+ participants

Click “Start Recording”

Stop recording after 30–60 seconds

Check resulting audio file

Notes / Suspected Cause
MediaRecorder not properly attached to mixed MediaStream or tracks are not re-initialized when participants join/leave.

You are posting to the incorrect repository. JsSIP does not come with any recording feature. It's a SIP library.

Thanks for your response.
I understand that JsSIP itself does not provide call recording functionality and is only used as the SIP signaling layer.

In our case, the issues are related to WebRTC MediaStreams / MediaRecorder handling in a desktop dialer that uses JsSIP for signaling.

Could you please guide me on the appropriate repository, forum, or community where issues related to WebRTC call recording, MediaStreams, or MediaRecorder behavior should be posted?

Any direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
