Adding Support for proxy?

Hi, I'm trying to upgrade this node from 0.8.x to 0.9.x but there is one problem:
0.9.x doesn't honor system proxy settings.
Is there any interest in adding proxy support? ( either manually or using system settings)
Maybe use this example?

Proxy support should be added to all the Watson nodes, but would be unable to test. I am, however, happy to accept a pull request
