Cannot use in a project that uses Startup.cs

I am using Startup.cs for my configuration.

app.UseRotativa() in Configure(IApplicationBuilder app, IWebHostEnvironment env, ILoggerFactory loggerFactory) method gives me a nice little error that Rotativa can only be used in a WebApplication :/

Well, turns out I can simply do RotativaConfiguration.Setup(env.WebRootPath); in Startup.cs, bypassing the extension method completely.

@pjdupreez Does using RotativaConfiguration.Setup solve your problem? Are you suggesting that documentation should mention this for usage outside asp.net apps?

Yes, using RotativaConfiguration.Setup solved my problem. But my problem is not that I am using Rotativa outside of an asp.net app. I am not using Program.cs as the place where I register all my services, I am (still) using Startup.cs for my WebApplication. The gatekeeper extension method that attempts to cast 'app' to a WebApplication always returns null in my app.
