Is there no trial period when installing on Windows Server?
How can I test the software?

If you're seeing a license error on Windows Server, a likely cause is that SimpleLPR runs under a different user account context (especially when running as a Windows Service). The evaluation period is tied to the user profile.

Things to check:

1. Was SimpleLPR previously installed on this server? The 60-day evaluation starts from the first installation of any SimpleLPR version on the system.

2. Running as a Windows Service? Services typically run under system accounts (Local System, Network Service) rather than your user account. Try either running your test application interactively under your user account first, or configuring the service to run under your user account (Service Properties -> Log On tab -> This account)

If the evaluation period was genuinely consumed by a previous installation, I can generate a trial extension. Just let me know and provide:

1. No, the software has never been installed on this PC before.
   I installed it on my PC, created a small program for recognizing license plates and displaying output in the console, and the trial period was completed. I wanted to transfer the program to a server so I could turn off the PC. I installed SingleLPR software (for the first time), transferred my project, and received an error that the license had expired. Then I launched the included demo application and immediately received the error on the screen.

2. First, I launched my application as a service and received an error. Then I tried running it from the command line, but I continued to receive the error...

Thank you for the offer to extend the trial period. I've requested a license. If I don't hear back by Monday, I'll contact you to extend the trial period.

Could you please tell me if I have a key and the application can run as a Windows service?
