./configure failing (and fix)

Hi,
configure fails with:
configure: error: cannot find sources (spell.c) in . or ..

As the last commit was a.. while ago, this is more of a "though i'd let you know" in case someone thinks about trying this out (like me):

I changed AC_INIT(spell.c) in line 13 of configure.in to AC_INIT() and got it working then (following the README / editing prefix / datarootdir).

You'll also need xutils-dev for make depend.

I really only have it online at all because I found it handy once and it didn't seem to be easy to find, so it's unlikely to see any commits unless someone forks it or it fails to build for me next time I need it. If you'd like to make your changes into a PR I'll happily just immediately merge them to make it easier for the next person.
