The macro CheckDigits.cxx takes as input the digit and hit root files, and produces the following plots:

  • map of the digits in the xy and yz planes
  • distribution of digits along the z coordinate
  • distribution of the difference between the local position of digits and hits in z
  • 2D distribution of the difference between the local position of digits and hits in x and z
  • 2D distribution of the differences between the hit start position and hit end position in x and z, to be compared with the previous plot, to have an estimate of how the particle tracks are inclined, especially along z
