👋 Jules, reporting for duty! I'm here to lend a hand with this pull request. When you start a review, I'll add a 👀 emoji to each comment to let you know I've read it. I'll focus on feedback directed at me and will do my best to stay out of conversations between you and other bots or reviewers to keep the noise down. I'll push a commit with your requested changes shortly after. Please note there might be a delay between these steps, but rest assured I'm on the job! For more direct control, you can switch me to Reactive Mode. When this mode is on, I will only act on comments where you specifically mention me with New to Jules? Learn more at jules.google/docs. 💡 What: Wrapped
ProductCardcomponent export inReact.memo().🎯 Why: In
Home.jsx, the rapid-updating local statesearchQuerytriggered severe re-render cascades in all child components, causing unnecessary and expensive re-rendering of the entire product grid on every keystroke.📊 Impact: This dramatically reduces unnecessary re-renders of the product grid on the home page during search. Now, the
ProductCardcomponents will only re-render if their individual properties (or context) actually change, rather than on every single character typed into the search bar.🔬 Measurement: To verify, one can type quickly into the search input on the Home page. Before this change, rapid typing could feel sluggish due to the heavy grid re-rendering. After this change, the search input response should be noticeably faster because the product grid skips rendering on unrelated state updates.
