Prof. Richard Tzong-Han Tsai is a leading figure in Taiwan's AI landscape. He currently serves as the President of the Taiwanese Association for Artificial Intelligence (TAAI). His leadership extends to national-level talent cultivation and infrastructure. He founded the AI CUP in 2018, growing it into Taiwan's largest AI competition with 3,000–5,000 annual participants. Additionally, he serves as the Co-PI of the TAIDE Project (Taiwan's sovereign LLM) and leads the AI Mandarin Partner & Write AI Projects. His research team is globally renowned for winning the BioASQ international challenge for six consecutive years (2020–2025). |
