Summary

  • add the agent-facing wait skill so repeated bash sleep 60 calls keep waits under the 2-minute shell timeout
  • add the AI writing checker plus the new script and hook it into Prek/CI, making sure em-dash scanning respects root and recursive skip lists
  • update common/global_config.py to match Ruff's formatting

Testing

  • uv run python scripts/check_ai_writing.py

Greptile Summary

Reformatted the running_on field definition in common/global_config.py to use Ruff's preferred parenthesized ternary expression style.

Note: The PR title and description mention adding a wait skill and AI writing guard, but these features were already added in PR #101. This PR only contains the formatting fix to match Ruff's style preferences.

Confidence Score: 5/5

  • This PR is safe to merge with no risk
  • The change is purely cosmetic formatting to match Ruff's preferred style. The ternary logic is identical before and after, just reformatted with parentheses instead of explicit line breaks. No functional changes, no security implications, no potential for introducing bugs.
  • No files require special attention
