For the Run 1b studies, people would like to look at the StepPointMCs in the virtual detectors. I have added the branch
mcsteps_virtualdetector, which is a vector branch. Each element in the vector represents a StepPointMC. The art module changes are extendable so we can easily add other StepPointMCCollections with just fcl parameter changes.This PR also includes updates to RooUtil but at the moment RooUtil only supports explicitly the
mcsteps_virtualdetectorbranch. More development would be needed to extend this to other StepPointMC branches.I have run EventNtuple and RooUtil validations and everything looks OK.
Before merging, I will generate a test file with the new branch for the Run 1b people to make sure it does what they want.
