+Guiding Eyes for the Blind (GEB) is a non profit that was founded in 1954 by Donald Z. Kauth in a 19th-century farmhouse. Since then, it has graduated over 10,000 guide dog teams. All guide dogs are provided to recipients free of charge.
+
+More than 2,000 volunteers are a vital part of our Guiding Eyes community. They participate in everything from raising, training, and socializing potential guide dogs to supporting our day-to-day operations. Our puppy raising regions stretch from Maine to North Carolina, and west to Colorado, with additional opportunities for remote puppy raisers now available.

+The North Carolina Region of GEB holds classes on a weekly basis at a variety of locations in Cary, Raleigh and Durham.
