Hi Professor Bilen,
Thank you for your feedback! You are right to point those things out. Much of my time was spent getting my data into tidy data and understanding the DataFrames I am working with. When we spoke about the project last week, I had been under the assumption that the EDA we were required to do was mostly doing the initial exploration of our data and presenting the trends we found. Without developing the regression model itself I had a difficult time thinking through how I would show the relationship in a way that specifically targets my research question. I had planned on doing comparative case studies between some of the states with high and low percentages of renewable energy, but I wasn't able to finish that in time. I wasn't aware that we were given the option to develop models and I guess I underestimated the expectations.
I do think that I should have gone further with interpreting the trends and my findings from the EDA more explicitly. Either way, I enjoyed working on this project and learning how to use Xaringan.
Thanks again for your feedback, I look forward to seeing my peer's projects today!
Best,
Olivia Ngai

I wasn't able to find your slides in the pull request.
Feel free to be faster on the earlier parts and focus on main results and implications.
You need more results. I wasn't really clear about your main findings?

Having EDA alone is OK. The main improvements you can make are: spend more time discussion the results of your figures and provide basic-to-understand takeaways derived from your work (not like general advice). You have two very interesting figures you produced. You can focus more on what their takeaways are, filter dataset to different subsamples or case studies as you mentioned. |
