Regarding the patch that fixes the scaling issue (PR #777 ), the community's patience has run out.

The facts are:

This community-contributed fix has been proven stable and effective by multiple users over time, solving a visible bug that the official team has left unresolved.

In contrast, the official response has been silence or delay, with no public, technically-grounded explanation for not merging it.

This situation is unacceptable. The foundation of open-source is collaboration and transparency, not one-sided waiting.

Therefore, we demand a clear, binary response here:

A. Merge this PR.

B. Provide a concrete, technical reason for rejection based on code quality (e.g., point to specific non-compliant code sections or compatibility risks), so the contributor can improve it.

Continued silence or any response vaguer than the above will be interpreted as indifference or negligence. Please demonstrate the professionalism and efficiency expected of a major distribution's maintainers.

We expect a substantive, technical reply within 48 hours.
