- A Mac running macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later
- Apple Silicon recommended (M1, M2, M3, or M4)
- Download Agent! and move it to your Applications folder
- Open Agent! -- It sets up everything automatically
- Pick your AI -- Open Settings, choose a provider, and enter your API key
- Click Connect in the toolbar, then Register to enable background services
- Approve when macOS asks to allow Agent! in System Settings > General > Login Items
- Type a task and press Run (or press Enter)
That's it. You're ready to go.
Don't have an API key? Use Local Ollama or LM Studio with GLM-5.1 -- it's completely free, runs offline, and doesn't need an account. You'll need at least 32GB of RAM for local models.
