Summary

The CLI no longer has a separate mint upgrade command. Instead, it automatically detects mint.json and upgrades it to docs.json when running mint dev, mint broken-links, or mint rename.

Changes

  • installation.mdx: Removed the "Upgrade configuration" section that referenced the deleted mint upgrade command
  • organize/settings.mdx: Updated the upgrade steps to explain the automatic upgrade behavior instead of the manual command
  • changelog.mdx: Updated the February 2025 entry to reflect the new auto-upgrade workflow

Note

Low Risk
Documentation-only updates that remove references to the deprecated mint upgrade command and describe the new auto-upgrade behavior; no runtime or data-handling code changes.

Overview
Updates docs to reflect that mint.json is now automatically migrated to docs.json when running regular CLI commands (for example mint dev).

Removes the mint upgrade instructions from installation.mdx, rewrites the upgrade steps in organize/settings.mdx to describe the auto-generation flow, and adjusts the February 2025 changelog entry to match the new workflow.
