Eligibility: Wei Han has been contributing to the ecosystem for over two years. His first contributions were made during his EPF stint, working on state expiry and proposing EIP 7736, by which he single-handedly resurrected the dormant state expiry effort. Afterwards, he kept working on state expiry via an EF grant, producing an implementation of eip 7736, and continued while working on state expiry for stateless consensus. Here, his role has expanded to support the state growth monitoring effort. On the side, Han has been a Geth and Nethermind (the starknet client, though) contributor.

Non-exhaustive list of his contributions:

• https://eips.ethereum.org/EIPS/eip-7736, his work on verkle (or binary)-based state expiry. This eip offers the advantage of simplicity in terms of implementation and UX. While it's not the most effective state expiry scheme, it's easy to ship and forward-compatible with further proposals.
• Not all state is equal an analysis of state usage.
• Ethereum bytecode and code chunk analysis, which investigates the value of doing eip-2926 code chunking analysis
• How effective is eip 7736 state expiry, looking at the value of doing eip 7736
