styrenedOne command gets you a running node connected to the community hub. From there, open the TUI or run headless.

Reticulum handles encryption, routing, and transport negotiation. Styrene builds the rest:
- Identity management — Cryptographic identities generated locally, ephemeral by default, optionally YubiKey-backed. No server involved.
- LXMF messaging — End-to-end encrypted with store-and-forward propagation. Compatible with Sideband and NomadNet on the wire.
- Device provisioning — NixOS images for Raspberry Pi, x86, and edge hardware. Devices join the mesh on first boot. Fleet management over LXMF — no SSH required.
- Graceful transport degradation — Internet (TCP/IP) → L2 mesh (BATMAN-adv) → LoRa radio (RNode). The stack degrades from broadband down to nothing.
