About

I'm Thaïs — Backend Software Engineer based in Rio de Janeiro, working in the payments domain. I write mostly Go and Python.

Outside of work I keep small projects that mix software with the things I'd be doing anyway: writing, languages, music, video.

What I'm into right now

  • AI tooling for software work — Claude, MCP, agents. Daily driver for the projects below.
  • High-availability backend systems — payment authorization, low-latency services, observability.
